No Fix fee and No more Free Diagnosis

When opening the shop over two years, I was being nice, and it was during the locked-down in New York City, by not charging additional fees. But after being ripped off and having personally covered losses.

I must remember I am running a business and like a profit. We will reopen with a ticket system in place, giving our claim tickets for devices and supporting the need after a repair is complete with paid for using a subscription.

You will be quoted prices going forward. No Fix Quote with a written agreement to pay. This is what the attempt and the number of hours labor put in for the effort to fix the device, and we give you another quote if we fix it you will have to sign.

We no longer be doing work without signatures on agreements.

We also do away with free diagnosis; too many times over the last 2 to 3 years, I would diagnose a problem or give a quote not to get the business, and they get cheaper somewhere else after I put in the time.

I have been watching different series on Youtube on how to run a Tech Services Shop, in the 21st Century.

Computers and laptops have got cheaper and it is easier to just buy a new one than fix it. If I want to stay in business we need to adopt so we can pay our bills.

Upcoming Services: we will offer ASAP the Following:

  • IT managed Services (MSP)
  • Smart Phone/Cell Phone Repair
  • Electric Repairs (Console game systems, etc.
  • We are going to start selling and offer Cell phones and paid phones.

I am not sure how soon we start the new offerings infrastructure must be built, some equipment must be brought, and contracts must be signed.

we will make announcements on our social media when things are ready.

Help keep us open. We are the only Black-Owned Computer & Tech Services Shop in our area, and we are about to lose our building.
