Charles O. Lucas, Founder, Owner, and CEO.

Hello Everyone; I have been into computers since I was a kid; I got interested in hacking and computers after watching the movie “War Games.” (1983, This gives you an idea of my age and how long I have been at this..)

I built my first computer when I was 13 years old and managed my high computer lab. I had the Hacker mindset most of my life.

I have worked as an IT professional for 20 years now, working mostly as Windows (Wintel) Systems Administrator, and sometimes I work as a network administrator managing Cisco switches, routers, and PIX/ASA and I currently work as an Applications Analyst for a staffing company in NYC Area.

My original goal when I became an IT Professional was to work my way through college and learn computer programming and game design; after graduating, I wanted to create video games. Things didn’t work out that way.

The truth I learned is professionals work on and develop their skills and push beyond the everyday routine, but just doing things to get the job done. I had forgotten about the passion I had for computers, science, engineering, and technology before I started working as a professional.

So, in the last 2 years, I have come back to basics; I am rebuilding Computer/Hackers labs and built and new computer room, and I am working on new notebooks.

I am learning Linux Administration and DevOps engineering and improving and advancing my skills in Windows (Wintel) systems administration and network administration.

What is the difference between a professional and a non-professional? I use to think it was knowledge, but no is it is love and passion for what it is that you do.

Anyone can develop the skills and knowledge but can do have the passion and love to do what you do. That is the real difference. Over 20 years of experience in, Professionally IT services and Support Industry!
